Wimpole is the largest house in Cambridgeshire, built in grand bold architecture in the 17th century, but with Georgian interiors. Note: there are 12 steps up to the house. As a working estate there is a farm with a number of rare breeds. There is extensive parkland plus a splendid walled garden, parterre and pleasure gardens that have some rare and exotic plants. There is a café, restaurant and shop.
