A Travel Club is a club formed for the purpose of managing & arranging transport for its members.

Members can be of any age, and once joined, those members decide what transport they would need and where to go.

It is easy to run a Travel Club and once it is set up it is just a matter of a phone call to arrange your clubs transport.

DACT can provide the transport and being a charity and having volunteer drivers means a friendly service is always given.

Setting up a Village Travel Club

You may find your Parish Council might be able to support the process.

Here are some steps to help you get started:

Define Your Purpose and Goals

Clarify the purpose of your travel club. Socializing, educational trips, or a combination of both? Determine your goals and what you want to achieve through the club.

Gather Enthusiastic Members

Reach out to fellow villagers who are interested in travel. Consider organizing an initial meeting to gauge interest and discuss the club’s vision.

Choose a Name

Select a catchy and memorable name for your travel club. It should reflect the spirit of adventure and community.

Plan Regular Meetings

Host regular gatherings where members can share travel experiences, discuss upcoming trips, and bond over their love for exploration.

Create a Leadership Team

Appoint key roles such as a president, treasurer, and trip coordinator. Each member should contribute their skills and expertise.

Set Up Communication Channels

Establish a communication platform (e.g., WhatsApp group, email list, or social media page) to keep everyone informed about club activities.
